The council chamber is an important meeting room where many different people need to feel comfortable in order to make important government decisions. The interior design chose office chairs with a fabric finish to create a soft, warm yet business-like feel. This look was carried through to the window coverings.

The classic council chamber in Sneek was decorated with luxurious Roman blinds in Nordic 5. Nordic is a luxurious curtain fabric with blended yarns. Thanks to these threads, the Roman blinds blend in with the different shades in the room and let daylight filter through. Furthermore, Nordic is a very stable and colour-fast fabric.
