Inside look at: Nadira and Stephan

  • Inside look at:

Today we take a look at Nadira and Stephan's home: a spacious townhouse just outside the city centre. Nadira is a true interior lover and her passion for styling is evident everywhere in their home. They recently built an extension themselves, so the ground floor now feels wonderfully spacious and open. A lovely addition to the house!

Unity and ambience in the dining room and living room

Beautiful curtains made from Normandy 14 fabric hang in the dining room. Thanks to the coarse, open weave technique, the fabric has a robust look, while the soft beige tones match the rest of the interior perfectly. An additional advantage is the antibacterial finish, which prevents stains from sticking and keeps the curtains fresher for longer. The curtains are finished with a double pleat, which gives them a fuller drape and a luxurious look.

The curtains in Normandy 14 fabric can also be found in the living room, where they form a beautiful whole. Here they have been used as decorative elements in the form of two narrow pieces with a single pleat. They are combined with Roman blinds in Seeds 16, which are lined with Base 15. Both fabrics are made from 100% cotton and are part of the bio-based collection. They are made entirely from natural fibres. These cotton blinds bear the BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) label. BCI cotton is produced with less water and pesticides and with special attention to soil health and the environment. So you are making a stylish and sustainable choice.

A quiet and luxurious bedroom on the top floor

The attic has been transformed into a beautiful bedroom with an open-plan bathroom, in keeping with the calm and warm look of the ground floor. Here, pleated curtains made of Fireflex 12 are hung, a fabric that not only looks luxurious, but also offers functional benefits: Fireflex is flame-retardant, insulating, sound-absorbing and blackout resistant. This not only contributes to the atmosphere, but also to the comfort of the room.

Roman blinds provide an elegant look. The rods in the tunnels ensure that the curtain stays in place and when you pull it up, the bottom part folds up nicely.

Thanks to the thoughtful choice of materials and colours, Nadira and Stephan's home exudes a harmonious blend of calm, luxury and warmth. A wonderful example of how you can create an atmospheric and practical interior with the right fabrics and colours!
